Mélissa Zill is a life science engineer specialized in toxicology, ecotoxicology, chemical risk assessment and management. She completed her engineering degree by a traineeship in the risk management directorate at the European Chemicals Agency.
She has since then been working as a Scientific Officer for the European Recycling Industries’ Confederation, where she is in charge of the technical issues and in particular of developing and coordinating the recycling industry’s positions for all the topics linking the waste and the chemicals legislation in the EU (Interface between waste, chemicals and products legislation, EU’s strategy for a non-toxic environment…).
