An organic chemist by education, Pierfrancesco Fois is the Deputy Executive Director of ETAD, the Ecological and Toxicological Association of Dyes and Organic Pigments manufacturers, which he joined in 2005.
He represents the association’s members in discussions with authorities, standards issuers, and other stakeholders in the colourants value chain, with the specific aim to provide sound and updated scientific information on the eco/toxicological profile of colourants and achieve suitable solutions to identified issues. He collaborates with many associations worldwide and is a member of the Colour Index Pigment and Solvent Dyes Technical Board.
