An enthusiastic, rather than exceptional, climber and mountaineer from an environmental research background. Gareth has worked in agricultural and marine research labs, gaining a PhD in satellite imaging, before becoming part of the outdoor industry. First in sales teams and now taking responsibility for delivering the balance of an innovative, commercially viable technical product and market leading social and environmental responsibility within Páramo. Páramo aims to make social and environmental responsibility (and where possible benefit) a fundamental part of the business not an add on.
