Steffen Foss Hansen
Steffen Foss Hansen currently is Associate Professor in Regulatory Engineering at the Technical University of Denmark, Department of Environmental Engineering and NanoDTU.
He conducts research into risk analysis, regulation and governance of nanotechnologies, and the applicability of decision-making tools under uncertainty. Specifically, he has done research risk assessment and regulation of nanobiocides in the last three years.
He has several scientific publications including four publications in Nature Nanotechnology and 30 ISI publications and his H-index is 11 (Web of Science). He is furthermore actively involved in the expert advisory group on nanotechnology of the World Health Organization and he is a Member of the ECHA Nanomaterial Working Group representing the European Environment Bureau on Scientific and Technical issues.
