Sonja Canger
Head of Division – Pesticides & Biocides, Danish Environmental Protection Agency (DEPA)
Sonja Canger has 30 years of experience in implementation and negotiation of national, international and EU-legislation as well as policy and strategy development in the fields of environment and nature protection. Her experience includes work at the Danish Ministry of the Environment, UNEP, IUCN and the Danish Permanent Representation to the EU. Sonja has worked as head of the Pesticides & Biocides Division of DEPA since 2011. During the last 4 years Sonja has – together with the DEPA's Chemicals Division – overseen the Agency's scientific and policy work related to criteria for endocrine disrupting properties.
