Ellen Dhein
Senior Manager Product Stewardship, Bayer AG
Ellen Dhein studied Biology and Religion for a teaching profession at the University of Cologne. She started her professional career with Bayer AG 25 years ago, as expert for ecological surveys. Since 2002, amongst others, she is responsible for the topic “endocrine disruptors”, which is currently assigned to the Corporate function CHS within the Bayer AG.
Besides leading the topic for Bayer she is head of the CEFIC endocrine expert group (EMSG) and the VCI advocacy team. Additionally Ellen is the chairperson for the CEFIC group for combination effects of chemicals (MIAT) since early 2010. Due to her function for CEFIC, she represented the chemicals industry in several European fora.
