Nidia Mariana Calvo Mendez
Born in Mexico city, Nidia moved to Guadalajara in the Western part of Mexico where she's lived ever since. Nidia completed an Environmental Engineer graduate program and a Masters Degree in Environmental Planning and has been in the Environmental Business since 1999.
Nidia started working as a junior consultant for a legal firm and a few years later, moved to the electronic industry where she has been applying her knowledge and learning from the experience. Nidia worked as an Environmental Coordinator at IBM where she got experience on waste management, chemical management and Environmental Management System and worked on complying with the federal environmental laws in Mexico, as well as the state laws.
In 2011, Nidia moved to HP where she has been working as the Americas Regulatory Affairs and Compliance Program Manager. In this role, she has been supporting the printing business and assuring her products - inks and toners - comply with the different legal requirements related to chemical management in the countries.
