Kate Sande
Kate Sande manages the regulatory R&D innovation project portfolio at Ecolab and develops global regulatory registration strategies for antimicrobial and cleaning products. Her team secures U.S. EPA and FDA registrations for products that eventually become registered around the globe.
Kate’s regulatory experience includes securing FIFRA biocide active ingredient, inert, and product registrations; preparing and overseeing FDA GRAS determinations and Food Contact Notifications; evaluating global registration requirements for biocides and cleaning products; preparing human health risk assessments; and hazard communication. Kate received an M.S. in Environmental Health from the University of Washington and a B.S. in Paper Science and Engineering from the University of Minnesota.
