Michel is a Senior Environmental Scientist (Supervisory) for the Pesticide Illness Surveillance Program in the California Department of Pesticide Regulation (CDPR). She obtained her undergraduate degree in Environmental Biology from the University of Colorado, Boulder with an emphasis in human health. She has worked for CDPR for almost 19 years, evaluating pesticide illness and injuries, and developing and providing training to field investigators.
