An holds a Master's degree in biomedical sciences and a Bachelor's degree in philosophy. After her PhD in ecotoxicology she worked several years as a consultant in European chemicals legislation. She joined the European Commission in 2014, where she has been working in the unit dealing with chemicals legislation in DG GROW. In particular, she is involved with the CLP Regulation as well as the fitness check of chemicals legislation.
