Project Leader, Coordinating Inspector Dangerous Substances, Inspectorate Social Affairs and Employment, Labour Inspectorate

Diana has worked for 20 years in the chemical industry as Laboratory Manager, Quality Manager, Process Engineer. During the last 16 years she has worked at the Labour Inspectorate from the Netherlands. First as a chemical safety specialist and later (last 8 years) as a project leader in dangerous substances.

Currently she is one of the project leaders in the program Dangerous Substances. Most of Diana's projects are focused on the “health” part of working with dangerous (carcinogenic and mutagenic) substances. REACH included.

Objective of the program Dangerous Substances is “Road to Zero” (no employee should become ill when working with dangerous substances). One of Diana's achievements is the development and promotion of the selfinspection hazardous substances: http://hazardoussubstances.zelfinspectie.nl/

Education: chemistry, quality management, process chemistry, chemical engineering, health and safety.
