Valerio Spinosi

Valerio worked from 2006 to 2010 in DG-SANTE as a Policy Officer in the Unit for Authorisation of Plant Protection Products. His main tasks were examining EFSA conclusions on existing active substances under the PPP Directive 91/414/EEC and drafting of Commission proposals.
He joined ECHA in 2010 where he works as Scientific and Regulatory Officer in the Biocides Unit. He is leading a team who deals with IT, communication and support. He is responsible for answering external questions and for the communication to stakeholders. He is also responsible for drafting the R4BP 3 manual targeted to CAs, the content of the biocides ECHA webpages, Dissemination of data and the BPR practical guide.
