Understand the mixture classification approach for human health effects

The European Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 on classification, labelling and packaging of substances and mixtures (often called “CLP”), which is based on the United Nations Globally Harmonised System (GHS), came into force in January 2009.

Learn a thorough overview of the mixture classification approach for human health effects during this premium 1 hour and 45 minute webinar

Although the focus of this webinar will be on the EU CLP, the underlying principles of classifying and labelling are also applicable for GHS. Any differences between the EU CLP and GHS will be highlighted during the session.

To gain maximum benefit from this webinar it would be useful to have some basic knowledge of toxicology and classification of substances in accordance with CLP/GHS.

Note: Throughout the session, set examples of classification for the hazard classes will be used to illustrate the theory - therefore a pencil, paper and a calculator are required to gain maximum benefit of this session.
