International regulations for transport by air (ICAO/IATA), sea (IMDG Code) and road (ADR)
The looming deadline of 1 January 2023 is concentrating the minds of those involved in the shipment and carriage of dangerous goods, with the latest round of regulatory amendments almost upon them. Those active in the air transport chain will be expected to be up to speed immediately, although other parts of the supply chain do enjoy some leeway.
This webinar will examine the changes that are coming, delve into their background, and help dutyholders to prepare themselves for the new requirements. There will be revisions to labelling and documentation procedures, new special provisions to deal with and, for those involved in shipping packaged dangerous goods by sea, some new segregation requirements.
The webinar will focus primarily on the international regulations for transport by air (ICAO/IATA), sea (IMDG Code) and road (ADR), but will also look at further planned and potential changes to national and regional provisions in the Americas, Europe and Asia.
Presenter Peter Mackay is a qualified Dangerous Goods Safety Adviser (DGSA), former chair of the Dangerous Goods Trainers Association and has been editor of HCB, the leading information source for dangerous goods professionals, for nearly 30 years.
All registrants will receive a 10% discount on our training course 'Introduction to the Transport of Hazardous Goods by Road', taking place on 25-26 April 2023.
