Biocides Symposium 2023

Teresa is a biologist that has investigated endocrinological aspects of the development of reproductive morphology and behaviour of fish. Transferring her knowledge to the field of ecotoxicology, she has recently participated in the development of a newly proposed in vivo test for ED, the iFEDT (integrated Fish Endocrine Disruption Test), potentially covering the most relevant endocrine modalities: Sex steroids and Thyroid hormones. She is a Study Director for Eurofins Aquatic Ecotoxicology conducting ED studies with fish and frogs, namely FSTRA and AMA.
