Christiane Stark is a scientific officer at the German Environment Agency. Currently she is working in the Biocides Section. She is responsible for the environmental risk assessment and authorisation of biocidal products. Her special focus is on the ecotoxicological evaluation and overall risk management of insecticides. Before, she was involved in the classification and labelling of hazardous chemicals and transport of dangerous goods.
By training she is a biologist with a PhD in biodiversity research.
