Mason Myers
Mason Myers is a Project Manager in the Notifications Group for Intertek's ASSURIS team in the United States. He joined this group in December 2021. Mason is responsible for recycling projects for US FDA NOL, EFSA Authorizations, Surrogate Contaminant Test (Challenge Test), and evaluation for recycled materials used in food contact applications.
Mr. Myers graduated with a B.A. in Chemistry from Emory & Henry College. Mr. Myers started his career at Eastman Chemical Company in 2013. In that time, he served as a laboratory technician in a control lab and research & development capacity for six years. Mr. Myers then transitioned to the Product Stewardship and Regulatory Affairs team as a Global Product Steward for two years. Mr. Myers has experience in supporting raw material product clearances globally and managing food contact notification (FCN) projects with the US FDA and food contact petitions in China.
Mr. Myers is a member of the Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Packaging Materials Committee (FCDPMC) with the PLASTICS Industry Association.
