Dr Gavin Maxwell is Safety Science Advocacy Lead within Unilever’s Safety and Environmental Assurance Centre in Bedford, UK.
Gavin has focussed on developing, evaluating, and applying non-animal approaches for safety assessment, particularly related to skin sensitisation, since joining Unilever in 2004.
He’s currently the industry co-chair for the European Partnership for Alternatives to Animal Testing (EPAA) and co-chair for the International Collaboration for Cosmetics Safety (ICCS) Acceptance Team.
