Nibal Saikali
Acting Head, Cosmetics Unit, Health Canada
Nibal joined Health Canada's Consumer and Hazardous Products Safety Directorate (CHPSD) in 2011 and is currently Acting Head of the Cosmetics Unit. Prior to this she worked as a Senior Regulatory Policy and Risk Management Advisor with the cosmetics unit. In 2022 Nibal worked as a Senior policy advisor with the Strategic Policy division supporting the drafting of legislative amendments to ban cosmetic animal testing. She holds a B.Sc. in Biopharmaceutical Sciences with a Specialisation in Medicinal Chemistry from the University of Ottawa.
