Biocides Europe 2023

Konstantinos Tsiamis is a biologist, with a MSc and PhD on environmental sciences. He has been involved with both research and policy support. He has broad experience in the development, implementation and monitoring of EU environmental policies. Konstantinos joined the DG SANTE’s team on biocides in March 2022. His main responsibilities concern the implementation and monitoring of the Biocidal Products Regulation (BPR), including in particular the approval of active substances and related matters.
