Le Viet Thang graduated his bachelor degree in Russian St Petersburg State University in 2007 and his master degree in Hanoi University of Science and Technology in 2012.
His background is bio-chemistry and environmental technology. He has started working in Vietnam Chemicals Agency, Ministry of Industry and Trade since 2012 and become Deputy Head of Division of Convention and International Cooperation since June 2017. His main duties focus on legislation development on chemicals management and the implementation of the Minamata Convention on mercury and the Global Harmony System on Classification and Labelling of Chemicals in Vietnam.
