Ellen Gao, Ph.D. is a senior regulatory specialist with expertise in analytical chemistry. She provides technical expertise in the regulatory compliance of substances used in food-contact materials. She assists companies in obtaining food-contact clearances for their products in China. In addition, Dr. Gao provides technical and scientific support to the new chemical notification in
China.
Prior to joining Intertek, Dr. Gao was as a Technical Director in an accredited GLP laboratory for ecotoxicology test of new chemicals. Her primary focus was physiochemical property test and analytical method development and validation of variety of new chemicals.
