Holding a PhD degree in Marine Environmental Science, Melissa has twelve years of experience working experience on chemicals. She worked in the Environmental Consulting industry before joining Greenpeace International (Science Unit) as a Senior Scientist in 2012. She advises and represents Greenpeace on the science-policy work on sound management of hazardous chemicals, as well as marine plastic litter and microplastics.
She is also interested in further exploration of synergies and nexus among different environmental science and policy areas.
