Practical Risk Assessment

Peter Di Marco is Managing Director and Principal Consultant at BTS.  Inducted as a Fellow of the Academy of Toxicological Sciences (FATS) in 2002, he was re-appointed in 2007, and 2013 and 2018.  Peter specialises in toxicology, health risk assessment, regulatory compliance and biological monitoring.  He also has a wide range of experience in other disciplines and work areas.

He has worked in biomedical research, teaching, chemical regulation and management of chemicals in the environment for over 40 years, University of WA (BSc, (Honours and PHD); Monash University, Victoria – post doctoral research; Murdoch University, WA – postdoctoral research; Therapeutic Goods Administration – pre-clinical toxicology evaluator; Department of Health WA- Principal Toxicologist in the Environmental Health Directorate; and as an environmental consultant since 2003 – toxicology and risk assessment.
