PFAS Updates Europe 2023

Ian has worked in the Environmental Policy and Economics team at WSP (formerly Wood, AmecFW) for the past 7 years. A key focus the WSP team’s recent work has been on developing and analysing data on PFAS, both for the European Commission, ECHA and national governments to inform the current REACH restriction proposals, and with NGOs, industry and international organisations to help support better understanding and implementation of a phase-out of their uses through delivering alternatives assessments, market analysis and supply chain mapping. Ian has an academic background in environmental chemistry and is based in Brussels.
