Sylvie Poret
Sylvie joined the OECD in 1992, and has been responsible for OECD’s work on pesticides, biocides (i.e. non-agricultural pesticides), international standardisation of agricultural inputs and outputs, agricultural markets and outlook, as well as evaluation of national chemical policies and capacity-building for low and middle-income countries on chemicals management. She is currently responsible for managing the OECD Programme on Biocides in the Environment Directorate, Environment, Health and Safety Division.
Prior to joining OECD, she worked for a private company carrying-out international market research in the food and retailing sectors and in the French national technical institute on grains and feeds.
Sylvie graduated from the Agro-Paris-Tech Institute.
