Michael Cleuvers

Dr Michael Cleuvers is a biologist who gained his PhD in the field of ecotoxicology from RWTH Aachen, where he subsequently spent 4 more years in research and teaching.
In 2004 Dr Cleuvers joined knoell Germany, which is headquartered in Mannheim, devoting his first few years to environmental assessments for pesticides, biocides and chemicals. He then held various positions of managerial responsibility in the REACH and global chemicals registration business unit, which he helped set up.
He has been general manager of the industrial chemicals and biocides global business unit since 2013 and heads the office in Leverkusen.
