Michael Flueh
Head of the REACH Unit, Directorate General for Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs, European Commission, Belgium
Michael heads the REACH unit in DG GROW since June 2017. The Unit has co-responsibility together with DG ENV for the implementation of the REACH.
Previously he has held various managerial posts in the area of food safety, including pesticides and biocides. He has also a strong experience as regards the enforcement, which he gained in the Commission's Food and Veterinary Office, responsible for auditing control/enforcement services of Member States and Third countries.
He joined the European Commission in 1995.
