Vivek Veerbhan
Vivek Veerbhan is the head of Regulatory Affairs & Government Relations for Lonza group in India. Prior to joining Lonza, Vivek served in regulatory, biosafety and government affairs role in ‘Bayer Crop Science’ and ‘Biotech Consortium India Ltd (A government promoted company).
Vivek possess over 10 years of experience in working with Government organization and Multinationals at country functional leadership role with exposure to Chemicals, Biocides, Agrochemicals, Nutritional products, Pharma & Biotech industry. Vivek is actively involved in policy related discussions with the government authorities on a timely manner. Vivek is also leading the ‘Subcommittee on Biocides’ formulated by ‘Confederation of Indian Industry (CII)’. Vivek is actively involved in deliberating industry concerns with the government while the regulatory framework for chemicals is under development.
