Agnes’s current role requires her to lead a group of Product Safety and Regulations teams in the region. She drives product safety compliance activities and projects across BASF entities to ensure the licence to operate for businesses in Asia Pacific. This includes ensuring appropriate measures and implementation in place for countries chemical legislation, inclusive of all trade control topics. Agnes is also highly engaged in various regional and country advocacy platforms such as the ASEAN Regulatory Cooperation Project, APEC Chemical Dialogue, chemical association known as the Chemical Industries Council of Malaysia (CICM) and Singapore Chemical Industry Council (SCIC) via Emerging Regulations Working Group.
