Beth Simpson
Beth has over 15 years’ experience in the sustainable resource management sector and is an accomplished project manager with a proven ability to run multi-disciplinary teams and politically sensitive projects to meet the clients’ needs. Beth applies her first-hand operational insight from her waste and supply chain experience to support clients on topics covering all aspects of extended producer responsibility and sustainable waste management practices.
She has a particular focus on plastics and leads Anthesis’s internal working group on plastic waste prevention and circular economy development. Over recent year’s she has worked with a range of clients including, retailers, FMCGs and medical good suppliers looking at how they can respond to the plastic and packaging challenges. Work includes plastic footprinting and strategy development support, packaging policy tool development looking at deposit return schemes and extended producer responsibility obligations. She has also be involved in advisor membership organisations and initiatives on a range of topics related to the plastic challenge covering, global plastic recycling performance, recyclability considerations, plastic policy landscape and the formation of initiatives and partnerships responding to the challenges around plastic.
