Dr. Jessica Cooper joined the FDA as a chemistry reviewer in the Office of Food Additive Safety (OFAS) in the Center for Food Safety and Applied Nutrition (CFSAN) in 2011. She is currently a chemistry team lead in the Division of Food Contact Substances (DFCS). Dr. Cooper has conducted comprehensive reviews of the chemistry information in industry submissions known as Food Contact Notifications (FCNs) for Food Contact Substances (FCSs). She has specialized expertise in migration testing protocols and dietary exposure assessments of FCSs.
