As a consumer safety officer at the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Elizabeth coordinates the review process for food contact substances, ensuring the timely approval of safe substances while keeping unsafe substances out of the food supply. She's experienced in coordinating diverse teams both for interdisciplinary scientific collaborations as well as for extracurricular activities, especially her local chapter of Toastmasters International.
With degrees from the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and the University of Chicago, Elizabeth is currently using her analytical, communication, and leadership skills as a regulatory scientist to keep the food supply safe.
