Since May 2018 Alfonso works at EFSA in the Pesticide Peer Review Unit in the mammalian toxicology group. Since 2013 he works in the area of Endocrine Disruptors and currently, he is responsible of the risk assessment of EDs. He was one of the authors of the EFSA-ECHA Guidance to identify EDs. Before joining EFSA, he has worked for almost 6 years at the European Commission, Joint Research Centre in the Chemical Safety Unit in the area of predictive toxicology.
