Petra coordinates Substance Evaluations performed under REACH. She has been working at the National Institute for Public Health and the Environment (RIVM) since 2011 and has many years of experience as a risk assessor in human toxicology, including the performance of Substance Evaluations.
She is also leading a working group on non-animal test methods as part of the UN steering committee on Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labeling of Chemicals (GHS), contributing to the reduction of animal testing.
