PFAS: Global Regulations, Restrictions and Alternatives

Ryan Schmit is a Senior Advisor in EPA’s Office of Chemical Safety and Pollution Prevention. He works on a broad portfolio of issues, primarily under the Toxics Substances Control Act.  He has held various positions in the Agency focusing on TSCA policy and implementation since 2010, including providing technical assistance during the TSCA reform efforts in 2015 and 2016.  He’s also currently OCSPP’s representative on the EPA PFAS Council.
