Pia Korjus
Senior Scientific Officer, European Chemicals Agency
Pia is a Team Leader in ECHA, Classification and Labelling Unit. She is coordinating CLP revision related topics and implementation in ECHA. She also participates in handling of harmonised classification proposals, especially for active substances of plant protection products and biocides. Pia has worked earlier in compliance check and substance evaluation processes under REACH.
Before joining ECHA in 2008 Pia worked in the competent authority for chemicals in Finland.
Pia holds a MSc in Environmental Health and Technology.
