Peter Asewe
Mr. Peter Asewe is a chemist by background with over 10 years as a chemical industries and associations consultant with specialty in HAZMAT, GHS, CBRN, GMP, water management, Responsible care RC 14001, Chemicals and waste management.
He is an active member of the Responsible Care Kenya, Kenya Chemical society and Kenya association of manufacturers. He has played a key role in establishment of Responsible Care Kenya.
He is actively involved in technical committees for drafting for policies within Kenya’s chemical legislative and regulatory framework.
Asewe is currently the industry consultant for the United Nation’s project to introduce the UN’s Globally Harmonized System of classification and labeling of chemicals (GHS) for African countries.
