Laia Pérez Simbor, a Spanish national, is a policy officer at the F1. REACH Unit of the Directorate General for Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs, supporting the work of the unit in restrictions, authorisations and policy making. Before joining the Commission, she gained more than 13 years of experience as expert in sustainability and chemicals regulation for industrial associations and consultancies in the metal, chemical and manufacturing sectors. Laia holds a master’s in environmental sciences by the Universitat Politècnica de València, Spain.
