Jürgen is senior expert and team leader for international chemicals policy in the Safe and Sustainable Chemicals Unit of the Directorate-General for Environment at the European Commission. He is in charge of the Rotterdam and Stockholm Conventions, the Global Framework on Chemicals and the Science-Policy Panel on chemicals, waste and pollution prevention and of the implementation of the conventions in the European Union.
