Stephen Tisdale
Stephen Tisdale is currently the president of Tisdale Environmental Consulting LLC. He has been involved in the electronics industry for 40+ years and involved in standards development for most of his career. He is a seasoned Engineering Manager with an MBA and a Masters in Program Management. He is a recognized Content Expert in the areas of Environmental Compliance, Industry Standards, Semiconductor Packaging, PCB design / materials and PCB Assembly Technology. He is considered a Trusted Advisor to the European Union Commission / European Union Consultants (IZM Fraunhofer) regarding semiconductor technologies and RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) Exemptions. He is a Technical Expert / Interface for IEC TC47, TC91, TC111, JEDEC (JC14-4) and IPC standards organizations. He has held many chair positions in IPC and recently completed his 9 years as chair of TC47/SC47D. He received the designation of Master Inventor (May 1995) – IBM (35+ Patents) and is a Certified Six-Sigma Green Belt.
