Jaclyn Poole

Policy Advisor, Environment and Climate Change Canada

Jaclyn is with the Plastics and Regulatory Affairs Division at Environment and Climate Change Canada.   She has experience working on issues of plastic waste and pollution and previously worked on policy to support fresh water and coastal ecosystems in Atlantic Canada.  Her current focus is developing policies and approaches to reduce the environmental impact of plastic food packaging. She appreciates the opportunity to build relationships and gain insights from a broad range of stakeholders and partners.

Jaclyn lives in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, where she spends time on the many local lakes and leads ecosystem and water conversation efforts for Lake Banook, an international paddling venue.
