Alex joined BPI in early 2022 as the organization’s legislation and advocacy manager, having previously directed zero waste program for PIRG, a national non-profit. His work focuses on supporting and communicating public policies to solve packaging problems and increase food and organic waste diversion. He remains passionate about waste reduction, public education, public health, and working with others to incrementally address messy environmental problems.
