Christian Odgaard Hellstrøm
Head of Section, Danish Ministry of Environment
With an MSc in political science at the University of Aarhus Christian has been Head of Section at the Danish Ministry of Environment since 2022. He has been working as a national expert representing the Danish interest in the negotiations of the Industrial Emissions Directive and the Industrial Emissions Portal Regulation. He is responsible for regulation related to environmental permits and inspections as well as matters on PFAS. He is the project coordinator for the first Action Plan for PFAS in Denmark and its forthcoming implementation.
