What is essential concerning TSCA fees and what needs to be done before the March 27 reporting deadline?

With the announcement in late December concerning the Environment Protection Agency (EPA) designating the next 20 substances to undergo TSCA risk evaluations, this Chemical Watch webinar will address what you need to be aware of before the March 27 deadline to self-identify as a manufacturer or importer of these substances.

Other issues surrounding fees, obligations and consortia will also be addressed in relation to the risk evaluations by guest speakers from the American Chemistry Council.

Topics that will be explored include:
  • The next 20 substances:
    • what are they,
    • what are their uses,
    • do they face regulatory action elsewhere in the world;
  • Fees:
    • who pays them,
    • how are fee amounts decided,
    • when are payments due;
  • What are the obligations for high-priority substances;

  • How will the EPA determine who these companies are;

  • Consortia:
    • what is the process for forming,
    • identifying,
    • joining a consortia,
    • what purpose do the consortia serve in the process.
Speakers
  • Steve Risotto - Senior Director, American Chemistry Council
  • Kat Gale - Regulatory & Technical Affairs Manager, American Chemistry Council
  • TBC at a later date
