Join the debate on global enforcement challenges
The fifth annual Chemical Watch Enforcement Summit Europe is a unique chance to join over 100 other delegates in Brussels to explore the multifaceted challenges related to enforcement. The two-day event this November will provide the chance to learn from some of the leading speakers in the industry in a relaxed, informal environment, and ensure you're fully prepared to tackle the enforcement challenges you may face in the coming year.
With speakers including EU and member state officials, regulatory managers and professional advisers, Enforcement Summit Europe 2017 will cover every perspective of enforcement, ranging from the views of authorities to those of NGOs. The Summit is the only forum to currently provide this much professional insight into the enforcement challenges facing companies, and the event has been central to the discussion surrounding enforcement for the past five years. Using a mixed format of presentations and in-depth Q&A panel discussions, the programme tackles enforcement issues around the world, including Europe, Turkey and North America.
Day one commences with a series of high-level overviews from the authorities including ECHA and the European Commission. This is followed by some industry and NGO perspectives on enforcement. In the afternoon, the focus moves on to key enforcement issues in 2017, including updates on REF4, the Forum pilot project on authorisation II and a whole session devoted to the enforcement of SDSs. The afternoon concludes with insights into enforcement of other EU regulations, such as the BPR as well as RoHS/POPs and new substance labelling requirements in the new Medical Device Regulation.
Day two begins with a session dedicated to the enforcement of articles, followed by some case studies from different companies and trade associations on their enforcement experiences. The programme concludes with a session on enforcement in Turkey and North America.
