Dr. Roland Weber is chemist and is working since 17 years as independent international consultant mainly for UN Organisations (UNIDO, UNEP, UNDP, and the Secretariat of the Stockholm Convention) and environmental ministries on the implementation of the Stockholm Convention (SC) for the reduction of Persistent Organic Pollutants (POPs). Since 12 years he is member of the Stockholm Convention/UNEP BAT/BEP expert group and Dioxin Toolkit group. Since 27 years Dr. Weber is working and researching on POPs and has published more than 150 articles (www.researchgate.net/profile/Roland_Weber3).
