Key Regulatory Updates: Europe, Asia and the Americas

Jowitt Li is associated with the Safety and Health Technology Center (SAHTECH) as senior researcher and Director of Chemical Safety.  His main area of responsibilities includes hazard communication, chemical exposure assessment, and technical support to competent authorities on chemical management scheme development.

 Jowitt is currently involved in Taiwan’s interagency GHS implementation, national inventory program, national standard committee, development of registration and notification scheme, national chemical management, and SDGs implementation programs.  Jowitt is also an acting delegate to Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Chemical Dialogue since 2006 as the focal point of GHS implementation.  He is currently adjunct assistant professor of the National University of TAINAN (NUTN) on sustainable development studies.
