Tajah is Senior Scientist in the Efficacy Brach (EB) in the Antimicrobials Division (AD) at EPA. She earned her Ph.D. in Microbiology from the Morehouse School of Medicine (Atlanta, GA) focusing on the host immune response to acute Helicobacter pylori infections. She also served as an international pharmaceutical investigator with the FDA, specializing in high-risk sterile inspections in China, India, Europe, South Korea, New Zealand, and Australia, and as Section Chief at the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).
