Jan Daem
Jan is Environmental Compliance Officer at BARCO and leads the Barco in house ECO office team responsible for environmental product compliance, compliance data collection, chemical product safety and EPR reporting. He is overseeing future proof products designed with focus on sustainable design anticipating future regulatory, standards and market demands.
Jan has international experience in creating product safety standards and is active member of TC76, TC100X, TC110X and CLCJWG10. He closely collaborates with industry assassins as Agoria, LightingEurope, DIGITALEUROPE and interacts with different governmental organizations.
He holds a Master Degree in Electronics, ICT obtained at KHBO and an additional Master degree of Safety Engineering obtained at the University of Leuven.
